A special appeal tribunal consisting of Chief Justice of the Union U Thar Htay and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union U Myo Maung, U Khin Maung Gyi, U Thaung Naing and Dr Ko Ko Naing was convened Monday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union and passed judgements for one special criminal appeal case No 13/2024 (Kayah), and four special civil appeal cases – Nos 5/2024 (Shan), 14/2024 (Mon), 23/2024 (Shan) and 42/2024 (Ayeyawady).
In addition, a total of nine special appeal cases; seven special criminal appeal cases – Nos 6/2024 (Mandalay), 7/2024 (Mandalay), 8/2024 (Mandalay), 9/2024(Mandalay), 10/2024 (Mandalay), 11/2024 (Mandalay) and 12/2024 (Mandalay), and two special civil appeal cases Nos 38/2024 (Sagaing) and 47/2024 (Yangon) were heard. — MNA
