‘11th largest’ property expo to be held in Yangon this month

A property expo, touted to be the 11th largest in Myanmar, will be organized by iMyanmarHouse.com from 10 to 12 May at the Tatmadaw Exhibition Hall on U Wisara Road in Yangon.
“The exhibition will be organized in Yangon by iMyanmarHouse.com, which has held similar expos in Mandalay, Taunggyi, and Singapore. More than 50 property companies will participate in the three-day real estate expo. There will be special sales for apartments, and the good news is that apartments will be sold under an instalment system. Officials from banks will come to the exhibition and explain how families can buy the apartments by using their savings accounts. KBZ Bank and YOMA Bank will act as the official banking partners for home loans,” said U Nay Min Thu, the Managing Director of iMyanmarHouse.com.
Golden City is the main sponsor of the expo. More than 10,000 apartment and condominiums from Mandalay, Yangon, Taunggyi, and Pathein will be showcased at the expo. While the apartments have been priced at K20 million, the prices of condominiums will range upwards of K50 million to K500 million. Some apartments will be sold on instalment, with repayment period of 1 year to 25 years.
