124 Myanmar migrant workers transferred from Thailand

A total of 124 Myanmar migrant workers: 81 males and 14 females in addition to 29 persons who wish to return home arrived in Tachilek on 13 January via the Myanmar-Thailand friendship bridge-2.
Among 124 Myanmar citizens, some of them were released from punishment due to arresting them for various reasons while working in Thailand, and some of them returned home due to job problems.
Those Myanmar citizens were performed medical checkup by the staff of the relevant department for the necessary tests whether they suffered from infection of Covid-19 and of infectious diseases.
It was reported that no Covid-19 virus was found at those persons in the medical checkup and they will be monitored at the Wamlon quarantine centre for seven days. —TWA/KZW
