Emporium officials announced that 177 pearl lots were sold after inspecting the proposed prices of the 230 pearl lots from Tenders 1 and 2.
The second day of the 142nd Myanmar South Sea Pearl Emporium 2024 was held yesterday morning at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Local and foreign traders were inspecting the pearl lots displayed for sale inside the hall.
Then, the merchants placed proposed price lists of Tender 1 with pearl lots numbered from 1 to 115 and Tender 2 with pearl lots numbered from 116 to 230 in the relevant tender boxes.
Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi, who is also the patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium, Deputy Minister U Min Thu and other officials attended the event to support tender inspections.

Pearl lots numbered from 231 to 345 from Tender 3 and Tender 4, with pearl lots numbered from 346 to 460 to be sold on the third day of the emporium.
At the 142nd Myanmar South Sea Pearl Emporium 2024, starting from 12 to 15 August, 175,000 pearls in 700 pearl lots will be sold with an open tender system at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. — MNA/TRKM
