16 Myanmar seamen quarantined in Kawthoung

Sixteen Myanmar seamen who signed off from the MV Global Effort that came from Singapore anchored in the Andaman Sea arrived in Kawthoung on 30 September.
Officials concerned examined the health conditions of the returnees at the Kawthoung Jetty. The seamen returned for crew change were kept under hotel quarantine for 14 days, and their lab samples will be sent to the National Health Laboratory.
