The Myanmar delegation led by Chairman U Than Swe of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on 22 November attended the 18th Heads’ Meeting of the ASEAN Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC), which was founded by anti-corruption agencies in ASEAN region. At the meeting, the ACC Chairman signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ASEAN-PAC and Cambodia respectively. Then, he joined the dinner hosted by the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) of Cambodia.
The meeting continued yesterday and the attendees made a discussion on enhancing the organizational performance of countries in the ASEAN region and ASEAN-PAC, the ability to promote the cooperation between ASEAN member countries and experiences in preventing and combatting corruption.
The closing ceremony was attended by ACC Chairman U Than Swe.Then the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU)of Cambodia gave a word of thanks and concluded the ceremony. — MNA
