2018 Korea-Expo kicked off at the Tatmadaw Convention Hall in Yangon yesterday, with 120 booths.
The four-day expo was opened with an address by Deputy Minister for Commerce U Aung Htoo.
Speaking at the ceremony, the deputy minister invited Korean investors as part of efforts for boosting trade between Myanmar and the Republic of Korea.
He said the expo is expected to explore opportunities for possible export products and services between the two countries.
To control the quality of export products of Myanmar and to reduce the costs, Myanmar and South Korea’s HUBS MK Co Ltd signed an agreement in Nay Pyi Taw recently on building logistic hubs. Myanmar and South Korea established the diplomatic ties in 1975.
