Candidates who passed the 2022 EPS-TOPIK 2022 agriculture and livestock exam are on the waitlist for job positions and haven’t been introduced to the employer are eligible to transfer to the forestry sector, Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA-EPS) announced on 24 August.
Names and exam registration numbers of 1366 candidates who are approved to transfer to forestry from agriculture and livestock, submitted by HRD-Korea, were also attached to the announcement.
The term of the waitlist for job positions will take effect until the expiry date of agriculture and livestock, it said. Those who want to transfer can come to the POEA office in person from 9 am to 3 pm on 27 August, along with the original passport and copy and exam registration number.
Transferring to forestry from agriculture and livestock doesn’t mean a job guarantee, as it is up to the employer under the EPS system. If the waitlist for job positions in the forestry sector is complete, it is eligible to transfer back to the original industry, agriculture and livestock, it said. — MT/ZS/ED
