221 Myanmar nationals return through Myawady Friendship Bridge

Myanmar citizens from Thailand are being welcomed back through the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge 2 in Myawady and a total of 221 Myanmar citizens returned home on 8 January.
Those Myanmar nationals were welcomed by U Aung Chan Nyein, Deputy District Administrator from Myawady district. Then, the officials and staff from the relevant departments are taking necessary action such as providing a COVID-19 awareness talk, collecting the information of the returnees, sending them to the quarantine centres in Myawady town and detecting the COVD-19 test in the health department.
After having those processes, they were transported to their respective states and regions. A total of 221 returnees, including 133 males and 88 females, from states and regions, came back home. — Mann Than Shwe Myint (IPRD)/GNLM
