According to the announcement of the Ministry of Education, the week spanning from 23 to 31 May has been designated as the school enrolment week for the academic year 2023-2024.
During the 2023-2024 academic year enrolment week, five-year-old children will have to be enrolled in Kindergarten (KG) and six-year-old children in Grade 1.
For the last 2022-2023 academic year, 26 May to 1 June was designated as the school enrolment week of basic education schools in various regions and states, private schools and monastic schools, according to the Department of Basic Education. —TWA/KZW
