Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) said it will provide a funding worth K20million and also urges its member factories and companies to donate what they want either cash or items.
It said in a statement on fund-raising for flood-affected areas issued on 16 September and in which, MGMG urged its owner, managing director, director, manager, all members and companies to donate.
The statement said some areas in Myanmar have suffered the natural disaster due to heavy rains and river flooding and people in those areas have been in need of a lot of aids, and MAGA would offer a fund worth K20 million for the affected people.
MAGA urged its member factories and companies to donate what they desire either cash or clothes or foods (along with estimated value) by 18 September (Wednesday).
