29th Anniversary of Myanmar Airways International’s annual event held

MAI holds its 29th Anniversary celebration on 15 August.

Myanmar Airways International (MAI) celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Lotte Hotel on 15 August. Attendees included MAI officials, airline partners for domestic and international flights, departmental officials, and domestic airline senior staff.
At the event, MAI’s CEO delivered a welcoming speech and the CEO of UAB Bank, explained the “MAI X-tra” programme that will benefit the MAI passengers.
Afterwards,U Aung Aung Zaw, Chairman of MAI, and officials presented awards to employees who have served with excellence, award prizes to departments, and conduct a lucky draw for attendees.
Although MAI faces difficulties during the Covid-19 period, it is currently flying routes like other airlines in ASEAN.
Four Airbus A-319, four Airbus A-320, and three Embraer E190s are used by MAI for regularly scheduled flights, charter flights, and cargo flights on domestic and international routes. — MNA
