32 Myanmar nationals return home from China via Chinshwehaw

Thirty-two Myanmar nationals (24 males and 8 females) returned home from China via Chinshwehaw border town in Laukkai Township, Kokang Self-administered Zone on 16 and 17 August.
Of these, 18 Myanmar nationals returned home on 16 August, and 14 returned home on 17 August.
Two were from Yesagyo Township and 11 from Taungdwingyi Township in Magway Region, 1 from Mohnyin Township in Kachin State, 1 from Lashio Township, 1 from Kyaukme Township, 1 from Tangyan Township, 1 from Muse Township, 1 from Mongyai Township, 6 from Hsenwi Township, 3 from Kunglong Township, 1 from Kongyan Township, 2 from Hopan Township and 1 from Laukkai Township.
Chinshwehaw Town’s Work Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID – 19) has systematically sent back the returnees to their respective regions or states. The work committee has sent back a total of 14,539 returnees (8,086 males and 6,453 females) to their homes from 30 April to date.—Zin Zin (Chinshwehaw) (Translated by Maung Maung Swe)
