The seventh Coordination Meeting of the Task Force to facilitate the provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar through the AHA Centre is convened in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The 7th Coordination Meeting of the Task Force to facilitate the provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar through the AHA Centre was held at 10:00 am on 26 April 2022 at the Ministry of International Cooperation.
The Meeting was attended by Chair of the Task Force, U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister of the Ministry of International Cooperation, Vice-Chair (1) of the Task Force, Dr Thet Khaing Win, Union Minister of the Ministry of Health, Vice-Chair (2) of the Task Force, Dr Thet Thet Khine, Union Minister of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, members and secretaries of the Task Force.
The Meeting reviewed operational experiences for receiving and delivery of Humanitarian Assistance across the nation. The Meeting further noted the outcomes of the discussion with Cambodia Delegation during their working visit to Myanmar. The Meeting then discussed the initiatives for Phase-2 provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar proposed by Cambodia, preparation for the Joint Needs Assessment, which is the initial stage for Phase-2 and policy-related matters for Humanitarian Assistance.
The Meeting reaffirmed continued support to facilitate swift and effective implementation of the whole process in close coordination with Cambodia, the ASEAN Secretariat and the AHA Centre. —MNA
