8,255 people vaccinated against 2nd dose of COVID jabs in Manaung

A total of 8,255 people has been vaccinated against the second dose of COVID-19 jabs in Manaung Township, health officials said.
From 23 to 26 October, over 55-year-olds, religious persons, including monks and nuns, people with disabilities, people with chronic diseases, civil servants and family members, volunteers, private factory workers and shopkeepers received the second dose of Covid vaccines at eight designated sites in the township.
With the supervision of the COVID-19 Prevention and Emergency Response Committee, Township Public Health Department staff, Township General Administration Department staff, Fire Brigade members, members of the Myanmar Police Force and ward and village administrators assisted the vaccinations. —Thein Pe (IPRD)/GNLM
