861 jade lots sold on day 8 of Jade and Gems Emporium

On the eighth day of the 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and Gems Emporium held yesterday morning at Mani Yandana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, 861 jade lots were sold to gem merchants, it is learnt.
A total of 1,150 jade lots were put up for sale under an open tender system and 861 lots were sold, fetching a total of about 38.23 million euros (Ks61.674 billion). On the eighth day of the emporium, a total of 4,429 local and international gem merchants visited the emporium.
To date, the gem emporium has sold 32 gem lots worth 767,000 euros and 3,520 jade lots worth 203.549 million euros (Ks327.93 billion) were sold under an open tender system, it is learnt.
The 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and Gems Emporium will be continued until 21 December. On 20 December, jade lots No. 4601 to 5750 and on 21 December jade lot No. 5751 to 6685 will be sold.
