9,223 Buthidaung residents receive vaccine first jabs

A total of 250 people (second batch) over the age of 55 received their first COVID-19 vaccines at the designated vaccination site in Aye Cedi Monastery of Buthidaung Township in Rakhine State.
The health workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the people and watched them for 30 minutes after vaccination.
The vaccination programme for the second batch of first jabs was started on 16 September in Buthidaung Township and a total of 9,223 people were vaccinated until 27 September.
The health workers, respective township administrators and members of the Red Cross Society conducted the vaccination following the health rules. — Hla Kyaw (IPRD)/GNLM
