A new postage stamp (K200) in peacock pansy will be introduced on 31 July at post offices in all regions and states at the same time, including Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office.
As a tribute to a butterfly species recoded in Myanmar by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, the Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will sell the new stamp on 31 July in all regions and states from 9:30am.
As a special program, date logo will be printed on postage stamps and first day covers bought at Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon Post Office and Mandalay Post Office on the launch day, 31 July.
Stamps are already distributed to region or state post offices.
