AA terrorist group spread false claims that Muslim youths fled to Bangladesh as Tatmadaw instructed to gather 30 youths in each ward of Maungtaw Township in Rakhine State for military training with the help of a media proxy.
According to a security official, such news was invalid, and AA terrorists launched attacks on non-military targets in towns and villages, killed local people, and locals strongly opposed them.
