ACC Chair-led Myanmar delegation attends 9th Eastern Economic Forum

At the invitation of Prosecutor-General Mr Igor Krasnov of the Russian Federation, the Myanmar delegation led by Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman U Sitt Aye attended the 9th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Russia held from 3 to 6 September.
On 4 September, the Myanmar delegation signed the cooperation on anti-corruption as a related programme of the forum. The cooperation can exchange educational resources regarding anti-corruption measures between the two countries, adopting international practices and training courses for the staff.
On 5 September, the commission chairman attended the discussion on protecting the rights of entrepreneurs and investors. He highlighted the strategic plans of the commission to eradicate corruption in the country, including education programmes, investigations and legal actions taken under the law. — MNA/KTZH
