AFC confirm hosts for AFC Cup 2021 Group Stage

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has previously confirmed the hosts for the AFC Cup 2021 Group Stage, following an extensive bidding process, according to the confederation statement.

The West Zone matches in Group A, includes strong teams including Al Hidd Club, Al Nasr, Al Wahda and defending champions Al Ahed FC and the group A matches will be hosted in Manama, Bahrain.

Next, Al Ansar FC, Muharraq Club, Al Salt and Balata Centre club included in Group B, and Al Faisaly, Al Seeb Club, Tishreen and the winner of the West Zone Play-off match will be put in Group C and which will be held in Amman, Jordan.

Also, ATK Mohun Bagan, Bashundhara Kings, Maziya Sports & Recreation and the winner of the South Zone Play-off will be included in the in Group D and will be hosted in Male, Maldives.

In the meantime, FC Dordoi will take in Group E, with Ahal FC and FC Ravshan and Dushanbe team and the group matches will be hosted in Kyrgyzstan.

Next, Tajikistan will be the host country for Group F, featuring FC Alay, Altyn Asyr FC, FC Khujand and the representative of Uzbekistan, AGMK FC or FC Nasaf, which will be decided after the Play-off match of AFC Champions League 2021, according to the AFC.—GNLM
