AFC Women’s Club Championship: Group A sees Myawady FC

The 2024-2025 season AFC Women’s Club Championship qualifiers and the final group lot-drawing event were held on 18 July, and Myawady FC, representing Myanmar, is in Group A.
Myawady FC will start from the qualifying round. The qualifiers will be divided into four groups, and only the top team from each group will qualify. The qualifying group matches will be held from 25 to 31 August.
According to lot-drawing result, Group A sees Myawady (Myanmar), Young Elephants (Laos), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Al Nasr (Saudi Arabia) and Odisha (India) while Group B consists of Lion City Sailors (Singapore), and Etihad (Jordan). Group C features PFC Nasaf (Uzbekistan), Sabah (Malaysia) and APF (Nepal) while Group (D) has Bam Khatun (Iran), Kit Chi (Hong Kong) and Royal Thimphu College (Bhutan).
The final group matches will be held in October this year and will be divided into three groups. If the Myanmar club Myawady succeeds in qualifying, it will go into Group A of the final stage. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
