AFC Women’s Football Day 2023 ceremony held in Yangon

The AFC Women’s Football Day 2023 of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) was organized by the Myanmar Football Federation yesterday morning at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon. A total of 200 students and 40 teachers from Basic Education High Schools participated in the ceremony.
Myanmar Football Federation executive member U Ko Ko Htay, Myanmar Football Federation executive member Daw Myat Myat Oo (Vice-Chairman of the Women’s Football Committee), Women’s football committee members, Myanmar Football Federation technical director U Tin Myint Aung, and officials from the football federation also attended the football event.
Star players of the Myanmar national women’s team were divided into two teams, the blue team and the white team, and played a demonstration match during the AFC Women’s Football festival.The ceremony ended with souvenirs given to the players. — KZL
