Air travellers to Myanmar need to show RDT test results within 48 hours

The Ministry of Health announced that those entering Myanmar by international airlines and rescue flights must show an RT-PCR test within 48 hours starting 1 August.
Those who have an entry visa and an international flight ticket to enter Myanmar will need a certificate of completion of a full vaccination against the COVID-19 disease recognized by the Ministry of Health more than 14 days ago.
In the same way, the results of the RTD test and the RT-PCR test that there is no COVID-19 disease will be required within 48 hours.
Upon arrival at the airports in Myanmar, they will be checked by the airport health department and immigration and will be tested for COVID-19 infection by the RTD method at the designated area of ​​the airport.
The Ministry of Health announced that those who are not found to be infected after the examination will be able to continue their journeys, and those who are found to be infected will be sent to a designated hospital or treatment centre or hotel for treatment.
Similarly, those returning from the relief flights will be checked by the airport health department and immigration and will be transported to designated hotels or quarantine centres by designated vehicles.
They will have to stay in the specified hotel or quarantine centre for seven days and will be tested by RDT on the first day and RT-PCR on the fifth day.
The Ministry of Health announced that after the results of the examination, those who are found negative for COVID-19 will be able to continue their journey. — TWA/GNLM
