State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win addresses the meeting with members of Kayah state government and departmental personnel in Kayah State on 3 February 2022.

Relevant departments need to overcome possible difficulties in the future through unity, said Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win at the meeting with members of Kayah State government and state-level departmental personnel at the hall of Kayah State government yesterday morning.
In his speech, the Vice-Senior General expressed his recognition over the service personnel who are serving the tasks dutifully for their efforts to develop the region amid various difficulties. Although terrorists chanted to occupy Kayah State on 14 January 2022 with committing the terror acts, faithful service personnel and security forces could fight against them successfully through the cooperation of the local people. All the people should participate in coordination for ensuring peace and stability, rule of law and development of Kayah State. Relevant departments need to overcome possible difficulties in the future through unity.
Relevant experts and service personnel are to join hands in regional development whereas security forces are to focus on peace and stability of the region. They all need to cooperate in the stability of the socio-economy of the local people.
The Kayah State Chief Minister reported on businesses in the state, transport facilities, electrification, health and education measures as well as prevention of COVID-19.
The Vice-Senior General asked for further information about the gathering of agricultural machinery, operation of private industries, supply of electricity, the progress of mineral melting plant, investment, health and education progress, anti-COVID-19 vaccination, transport and communication measures and attended to the needs.
The Vice-Senior General discussed regional development measures. He said that departmental personnel need to prepare the functioning of suspended works to resume at full capacity when the region restores peace and stability. The Prime Minister of the State adopted the national vision to ensure the prosperity of the nation and ensure food sufficiency. Food sufficiency depends on the agriculture and livestock farms of rural people. Development, departmental personnel, security forces and local people are to cooperate in implementing peace and stability which is essential for regional development.
After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General cordially greeted the attendees. —MNA
