Announcement on legal actions against electoral frauds

1. Daw Myint Myint Kyi, who lives in Ward-A, Thingangyun Township, Yangon (Eastern District), Yangon Region, voted in her name, and she voted again in the name of her daughter Thida Soe at Polling Station No 5. So, she voted twice.
2. Daw Ni Ni Myint, who lives in Bilin Village, Bilin Village-tract, Maubin Township, Maubin District, Ayeyawady Region, voted in her name at Polling Station No 1 and voted again in the name of her sister-in-law Ma Aye Yu Maw. It was found that she voted twice.
3. In Watawzu Village in Agatlakpan Village-tract, Wakema Township, Myaungmya District, Ayeyawady Region, six people — Daw Mya San Tin (a) A Htwe Lay, Daw Aung Htay Myint (a) Daw Htay, Daw Aye Aye, Daw Thin Wai Khaing, Village-tract Election Sub-commission chairperson U Saw Myaing and member U Min Aung — voted on behalf of others in the advance voting process.
4. At polling station No 5 in Nyaungwine Village-tract, Myanaung Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyawady Region, it is found that Ma Khin Moe Htay voted in the name of another person.
5. At polling station No 4 in Taputtanaung Village, Malatto Village-tract, Maubin Township, Maubin District, Ayeyawady Region, the name of Aung Aung (a) Aung Gyi (a) Gaung Gyi was not in the eligible voters’ list. But, he cast his vote by using the voter ID card of U Ko Ko Aung (temporarily in Malaysia) issued by Village-tract Election Sub-commission member U Kyaw Lwin.
6. So, Daw Myint Myint Kyi, Daw Ni Ni Myint, Daw Mya San Tin (a) A Htwe Lay, Daw Aung Htay Myint (a) Daw Htay, Daw Aye Aye, Daw Thin Wai Khaing, Village-tract Election Sub-commission chairperson U Saw Myaing, the Sub-commission member U Min Aung, Ma Khin Moe Htay, Malatto Village-tract Election Sub-commission member U Kyaw Lwin, and Aung Aung (a) Aung Gyi (a) Gaung Gyi have been charged under Section 59 of the relevant Hluttaw Election Law.
