The Myanmar Police Force is implementing the tasks of public awareness activities for avoiding from being trafficked and taking severe legal action against traffickers for 100-day plan implementing between 1 May and 8 August.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Police Force gave educational talks on human trafficking at Zabuthiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw, Loikaw town in Kayah State, at Shwepyithar Township in Yangon Region, at Kangyidaung Township in Ayeyawady Region, at Thayatchaung Township in Taninthayi Region, at Patheingyi and Thazi Townships in Mandalay Region, at Myitkyina Township in Kachin State, Kungtung and Tachilek Townships in Shan State from 22 to 24 July. At the talks, members of sections and companies of the Myanmar Anti-Human Trafficking Police Force elaborated on the definitions of human trafficking and human smuggling, how to recognise the signs that someone might be a victim of human trafficking, methods of recruitment used by human traffickers, , the types of human trafficking in Myanmar and the prevention of violence against women. The police force gave out education pamphlets to 2195 students, 38 trainees from the course for Hotel Service, 88 people in the Ward who attended the ceremony.
