Team Myanmar drew Vietnam 1-1 in the Group B match of the ASEAN U-19 Championship held in Indonesia yesterday. In the other Group B match, Australia trounced Laos 6-0.
The Myanmar team took the leading goal but had to concede an equalizer and were satisfied with a draw.
Team Myanmar had chances to score since the first half but failed to capitalize many times. Myanmar Team made a leading goal at 59 minutes when Phyo Pyae Sone kicked the ball that bounced back from the corner kick.
After conceding a goal, the Vietnamese team tried to equalize and in the 74 minute, Quanyu scored with a long shot.
