Aung Bar Lay lottery tickets worth about K5,300 million were sold out in August 2023 but sales have decreased a little over the previous month, according to the Aung Bar Lay Branch of the Internal Revenue Department.
Both types of Aung Bar Lay lottery tickets and online Aung Bar Lay lottery tickets were sold in August earning K5,293,188 million. It is announced that more than K3,705,231 million, 70 per cent of the sales, will be awarded as lottery prizes.
The sale of lottery tickets in July brought proceeds of over K5,300 million. Compared to the previous month’s sales, lottery sales in August have decreased by over K15 million.
The opening of the Aung Bar Lay lottery will be held on 1 September and there will be only a special prize of K500 million, a prize of K200 million and a prize of K100 million and the number of other prizes will be increased. — TWA/MKKS
