A total of 204 apartments in Aungmyintmoh low-cost housing in Dagon Myothit (South) and Thilawa low-cost housing in Kyauktan township will be sold through lot drawing, according to the Ministry of Construction.
There are 2,788 customers on the list of having deposited K3 million and above with the Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Development Bank (CHID) until end-December 2023.
The previous price of 900 and 1,300 square feet is K29.6 million-K55.6 million but it changed to K32.6 million-K61.2 million for building maintenance after these flats were used as COVID-19 treatment centres. In addition, the price of 468 square feet area has been adjusted from K11.1million-K18.6 million to K12.2 million-K21.6 million.
The first 25 registrants out of 699 registrations to purchase the apartments will be allowed to attend lot-drawing events at the Urban and Housing Development Department on Bogyoke Aung San Road in Yangon on 9 May in order to avoid overcrowding as per Covid-19 rules and regulations. — TWA/MKKS
