Awards presented to military columns participating in Armed Forces Day parade

Some of the military columns that participated in the 2018 73rd anniversary of the Armed Forces Day military parades were presented with awards in various categories at the Thittat Parade Ground after the conclusion of the military parade yesterday morning.
At the awards ceremony, Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Maung Maung Aye, organising committee chairman of the the 73rd anniversary Armed Forces Day, presented the parade awards to the company representing the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and the company representing the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Air). The special force award was given to the women special force company, military band award to the central military band, flag bearer award to Tatmadaw (Army) flag bearing platoon, cavalry award to the horse cavalry platoon, police force band award to the Myanmar Police Force band, best flag bearer award to the flag bearer group representing the Bayintnaung column and the best military band award to the band representing the Anawrahta column.
The third prizes for the best camp, best marching song, best discipline and parade were presented to the company representing the central command, the company representing the Eastern Command, the company representing the Directorate of Ordnance Services and the company representing the Directorate of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers respectively.
The second prizes for the above categories were presented to the company representing the Office of Chief of Air Defence Force, the company (1) representing the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Air), the company representing the Directorate of Armoured Force and the company representing the Directorate of Artillery Force respectively. The second prizes for the Myanmar Police Force (women) parade, Myanmar Police Force (men) parade and the Tatmadaw (army) women’s parade were presented to the Myanmar Police Force (women) guard of honour, Myanmar Police Force (men) company (2) and Tatmadaw (Army) women’s guard of honour respectively.
The first prizes for the Myanmar Police Force (women) parade, Myanmar Police Force (men) parade and the Tatmadaw (army) women’s parade were presented to the Myanmar Police Force (women) company (1), Myanmar Police Force (men) company (3) and Tatmadaw (Army) women’s company (1) respectively.
The first prizes for best camp, best marching song, best discipline and best parade were presented to the company representing the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Navy), the company representing the Directorate of Supply and Transport, the company representing the office of the chief of defence industries and the company representing the Directorate of Signals respectively.
