Ayeyarwady Foundation to produce, distribute 5 mln masks

The Ayeyarwady Foundation is working with the Ministry of Health and Sports to produce 5 millions masks which will be distributed free of charge as part of measures against COVID-19. The foundation ordered the mask-making machines over six months ago in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and global air pollution. The machines recently arrived and the foreign experts installed the machines. Now the machines run properly and it can produce 5,000 masks in one hour and it can also produce up to 50,000 masks per day.
The foundation will produce 5 million masks and will distribute them to the needy and low-income people for free. The Ayeyarwady Foundation has been participating in measures against COVID-19 since March together with the Ministry of Health and Sports.
