Bagan, Leshan sister city agreement under discussion

Myanmar-China bilateral discussion to sign sister city agreement between Myanmar’s Bagan City in Mandalay Region and Leshan City in Sichuan Province this year took place on 9 July at Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism in Chengdu, China, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
U Kyaw Zeyar Lin, Myanmar Consul-General of the Consulate-General in Chongqing met Mr Dai Yunkang, Director-General of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism regarding cultural exchange and cooperation in tourism development between Myanmar and Sichuan.
They exchanged ideas to sign a sister city agreement for Bagan and Leshan cities. — ASH/KK
