Beijing Buddhist delegation visits Chaukhtetkyee Pagoda, Theravada Missionary University

Members of the Beijing Buddhist delegation, led by Lama Hu Xuefeng, Chairman of the Beijing Buddhist Association of the People’s Republic of China, visited the Chaukhtetkyee Pagoda in Bahan Township and made a cash donation on the afternoon of 4 September.
Following this, the delegation visited the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University, where Rector Dr Bhaddanta Hsekinda and other officials explained the subjects taught at the university and answered the delegation’s questions.
On the morning of 5 September, the Chinese Buddhist delegation also visited the National Museum. They departed from Yangon International Airport on 6 September, with U Tin Oo, Chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association, and other officials saw them off. — MNA/TRKM
