THE Taunggyi Association awarded the woman of excellence award in the business field to Daw Nang Lang Kham, Chairperson of KBZ’s Brighter Future Myanmar foundation-BFM for her committed efforts to assisting nationwide social welfare and the rights of women in the country.
The association conferred the award on the chairperson of  the BFM through an official of the  foundation at the association’s annual general meeting with a ceremony in Yangon on Sunday to pay respect to elders and outstanding students.
Daw Nang Lang Kham, who founded the BFM in 2008 and has since carried out philanthropic work nationwide, helping the BFM win the president’s state excellence award for its contribution to the country and the people. She also won the woman of excellence award on Myanmar Women’s Day this year.
The foundation has also been awarded the “Euromoney Achievement Award for CSR 2015” by London-based Euromoney for its water projects in Shan State.
