Deputy Information Minister U Ye Tint meets Information Ministry staff in northern Shan State.

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint met the township chief and staff at the Information and Public Relations Department in Nawnghkio Township, northern Shan State on 19 September.
After instructing the operation, the Deputy Minister inspected the Nawnghkio retransmission Station.
On the morning of 20 September, the Deputy Minister met the district head, Township IPRD heads from Kyaukme, Monglon and Mong Ngaw, officials from Kyaukme Retransmission Station at the District Information and Public Relations Department and stressed essential procedures. The Deputy Minister then inspected the Kyaukme Retransmission Station.
Afterwards, the Deputy Minister met township chief and staff at Hsipaw township office and inspected the Retransmission Station in Hsipaw and gave necessary instructions.
In the evening, the Deputy Minister met the Shan State (North) joint state head, staff from the Information and Public Relations Department, Lashio District office staff and town elders and leaders from Namtu, Mongyai and Tangyang townships, engineers from Lashio Township Retransmission Station, and officials from Lashio, Muse, Kunlong, Hsenwi, Kutkai, Namhtu, and Laukkai, and Lashio sub-printing house of newspaper and gave orders.
Officials from the Information and Public Relations Departments of Lashio District, Muse District, Momeit District, Laukkai District, Hopang and Namhsan districts attended the meeting by videoconferencing.
The Deputy Minister then visited the Lashio Community Centre and instructed them to make good arrangements to provide better services to the public if the COVID-19 outbreak is reduced.
On the morning of 21 September, the Deputy Minister inspected the Lashio Retransmission Station and sub-printing house of newspaper and met with the staff.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister called for information to be disseminated to the public and to give correct knowledge to young people. The Deputy Minister discussed loyalty to the State.
In addition, the Deputy Minister said that the staff should continue to implement the ongoing COVID-19 infectious disease prevention and control alert, although the current disease infection is declining.
Bringing peace and stability to the country, uniting people for development and joining forces with people to fight destruction were also discussed.
The COVID-19 outbreak has dropped dramatically and the violence will soon be reduced with the participation of the people, the Deputy Minister continued.
