Carrot marketable in Nay Pyi Taw

Local farmers cultivate carrot plants in Thahtaygon, Nweyit and Kyathay-aing villages in Tatkon Township.
The farmers now earn income from carrot grown in early November. Likewise, farming workers also earn daily wage for their families from weeding and nurturing the plants.
In the cold season, vegetables are marketable in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. The 45-day carrot plants can be sold at the market.–Shwe Ye Yint
