Cash donation ceremony for Eternal Peace Pagoda held in Yangon

The fourth cash donation ceremony for the Eternal Peace Pagoda which is under construction in Nay Pyi Taw was held at Vijaya Mingalar Dhamma Hall on Thiri Mingalar Kaba-Aye Hillock in Mayangon Township, Yangon yesterday morning.
The cash donation ceremony was attended by Dhammakathika Bahujanahitadhara Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Shwe Parami Tawya Sayadaw Ashin Sanda Dhika, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko, Yangon Region Social Affairs Minister U Naing Ngan Lin, Director General of Department of the Religious Affairs U Myint Oo and donors.
First Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and the audience received five precepts from Dhammakathika Bahujanahitadhara Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Shwe Parami Tawya Sayadaw Ashin Sanda Dhika. Union Minister then presented offertories to Shwe Parami Tawya Sayadaw. Following that, the audience shared the merits gained. A total of K 456,871,300 from 71 donors together with jewelry worth K 13,300,000 from four donors was presented for the construction of Eternal Peace Pagoda at the ceremony.
