CBM notifies traders to submit EBRE, IBPE forms in barter transaction

The Foreign Exchange Management Department of the Central Bank of Myanmar released a notification that traders need to submit Export Bill Receivable Exemption (EBRE) and Import Bill Payment Exemption (IBPE) in exchanging goods and services between trade partner countries, according to Barter Transaction Arrangement.
The traders must send the EBRE form or IBPE form with the allowed shipment notification, release order notification copy, export/import licence sale contract and necessary documents to the director-general of the Foreign Exchange Management Department through Email: [email protected].
The department will reply when they receive the email. If they do not get an email after one working day, they are advised to recheck the email address or enquire the department through contact number 01 543511 (extension 461-462). — NN/KK
