The Central Committee for Anti Money Laundering held its Meeting No. 1/2018 yesterday at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw where the Committee Chairman Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Kyaw Swe delivered an opening address.
Next, the joint secretary of the committee, acting chief of Anti-Financial Crime Division Police Brig-Gen Kyaw Win Thein explained about national-level danger assessment report and Anti-Money Laundering Law jointly drawn up by Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s Legal Affairs and Special Cases Assessment Commission and the law amendment committee after which meeting attendees provided additional discussions.
The meeting was attended by 15 committee members and five special invitees totaling twenty it is learnt. — Myanmar News Agency
