Children’s umbrellas sell well

In this monsoon season, umbrellas for children have been sold more than umbrellas for adults.
This is school season, kid umbrella sales have been better than adult umbrellas, and orders for kid umbrellas from the Yangon market have been received, according to Mandalay’s umbrella trading market.
“Umbrella trade is fine now. We deliver to all regions and states, including Yangon. Both adult and children’s umbrellas have been sold well, though. The sale of children’s umbrellas is better because this is school season,” said an official from the Shwe Khit Thit umbrella retail and wholesale trading at Zaycho Market.
The sale of medium-sized and oversized adult umbrellas with attractive designs has been good. However, the sale of children’s umbrellas has noticeably risen, and appealing designs have caught children’s attention, he said.
It is anticipated that the sale of different kinds of umbrellas will increase during the period from May to October. However, umbrella trading was slow in the 2022 monsoon season. — Thit Taw/ZS
