China-based TBEA Electrical and Powering Co., Ltd donated 150,000 masks worth K12 million to the Ministry of Health and Sports yesterday to control COVID-19 pandemic.
The official donation ceremony was held at the Department of Medical Research in Dagon Township, Yangon, at 11:30 am yesterday. During the ceremony, the Commercial Counsellor Mr Tan Shu Fu from Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, and the Director-General of Department of Medical Research Professor Dr Zaw Than Tun delivered speeches before the company’s General Manager Mr Liu Zhi Fei explained the reason of the donation.
Then, Dr Zaw Than Tun received the masks presented by Mr Tan Shu Fu and Mr Liu Zhi Fei, and returned certificates of honour to them.—Min Thit (MNA) (Translated by Maung Maung Swe)
