Mr. Li Chingping, Deputy Minister of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission (SEAC) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), visited the Union National Races Village in Thakayta Township, Yangon, yesterday.
The delegation led by Mr. Li Chingping was entertained there with “The Strength of the Union” song and traditional cultural dances by the ethnic performing troupes.
Deputy Director U Kyaw Lin Han, in-charge of the Union National Races Village, gifted a gemstone painting depicted the Myanmar national races. The Deputy Minister then hadthe documentary photos taken together with national races, and signed the guest book.
Duiring the visit to the Union National Races Village, officials conducted the delegation around the village.
In the afternoon, the deputy minister and party also visited the National Museum (Yangon) and enjoyed the Buddhist arts, cultural artefacts of the national races and paintings displayed at the museum.
