Chinese media returns to Yangon after gathering information in Sittway and Maungtaw

News media representatives from the People’s Republic of China gathered information in Sittway yesterday morning and returned to Yangon in evening.
In the morning, the media group visited to Thatkal Pyin rescue camp in Sittway where Islamic people stay and hold talks with displaced people and officials from IDP camp, gathering information freely about healthcare and living in camp.
Then, the media group visited the temporary rescue camp of Maha Zaya Theidhi Adeikhtan temple where Hindus displaced people stay and hold talks with displaced people, gathering information about the situation of looking after them by government and social organizations.
Finally, the group gathered information at the temporary rescue camp of Hindus Temple in Kyaung Tat Lan ward, Sittway where Hindus displaced people fled from Maungtaw and Buthidaung townships live. In the evening, the Chinese media group left for Yangon from Sittway by air.
The Chinese media group including journalists from People’s Daily, China Radio International and Phoenix TV (Hong Kong) gathered information in Sittway and Maungtaw townships on 22 and 23 September.
