Civil staff families in Kyaukpyu receive COVID-19 vaccine

In Kyaukpyu township, the departmental staff received the COVID vaccine from 17 to 28 March, while the elderly people who are above 65 years from 16 wards received the vaccination from 5 to 8 April.

The civil staff families in Kyaukpyu town, Rakhine State, received the vaccine against COVID-19 as the first dose at District people’s general hospital yesterday.
Each COVD-19 vaccine will be injected into ten persons. Before having the vaccination, the health staff will check the body temperature and blood pressure. Only those who are in normal health condition were injected with the COVID vaccination. After giving an injection, those vaccinated persons were also observed for 30 minutes.
COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities are being conducted across the nation under the State Administration Council’s management.
