Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing separately received People’s Republic of China (PRC) Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Chen Hai and Republic of Ghana Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Akua Sekyiwa Ahenkora at the Bayintnaung guest house in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
In the meeting with the PRC Ambassador the position taken by China in the international arena regarding the government and Tatmadaw’s efforts in resolving the Rakhine State matter, status of cooperation between the two militaries towards stability and peace in the border areas of the two countries, matters in which the two countries can cooperate and increasing cooperation between the two militaries were cordially discussed and views exchanged.
During the meeting with the Ghanaian Ambassador to Myanmar matters relating to establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, history of the Ghanaian military, status of cooperation in trade, status of increasing friendship and relations between the two militaries, status of Myanmar walking the path of multi-party democracy chosen by the people, efforts towards achieving internal peace and efforts conducted according to law regarding events in Rakhine State were discussed according to a news released from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.— MNA
