Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrived Tuesday in New Delhi, where he was welcomed at the airport by Air Vice Marshal Shouvik Roy of the Indian Air Forces, officials said.
The commander-in-chief toured the Army Base Workshop of the Delhi Cantonment after receiving a brief account of the background history of the military camp.
In the afternoon, he went to the Information Management and Analysis Centre (IMAC) in Gurgaon, where he observed simulation systems.
At Taj Palace Hotel, he attended a presentation on biometric systems.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing separately met Myanmar’s military attaches and their families at the hotel, as well as officials of the Embassy of Myanmar in India.
