The second coordination meeting of the Committee on Organizing Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 is in progress in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The Committee on Organizing Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 held its first coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, Committee Chairman Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said arrangements are underway to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Independence Day at State-level. The pre-ceremonial programmes and their related programmes are also being held. Therefore, all should participate in that great ceremony as one can encounter such a significant day once in a lifetime.
Then, Joint Secretary of Committee Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung reported on the activities of the organizing committee and sub-committees, and float preparations of ministries, regions and states.
The committee members Deputy Ministers and attendees also discussed the preparations for a military parade, schedule for rehearsal, military parade programmes, duration, invitation, and alphabet formation including the needed numbers of students for presentation, transportation, healthcare services, floats, construction estimate and approval.
Then, the Union minister concluded the meeting after the joint secretary of the committee read out the decisions made at the meeting. – MNA
