Conference aims to promote role of Myanmar literature

LOCAL writers have been urged to put more effort into creating non-fiction books as well as aesthetics books to promote the role of literature, said Sithu U Tin Hlaing, whose pen name is Lae Dwin Thar Saw Chit, at the Myanmar Writers Association’s (MWA) conference in Yangon.

the writing style in books created by international writers to help promote their writing skills.
The second conference of the Myanmar Writers Association, an independent literature association, was held at Printing and Publishing Department on Theinbyu Road in Yangon starting on 27 August.
During the conference, the Myanmar Library Foundation donated publications and well-wishers donated cash for the township writers association.
