An on-duty team at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint in Mon State confiscated a Zhongtong express bus (approximate value of K30 million) carrying 50 cartons of Wai Wai instant rice vermicelli (worth K2.75 million) without official documents travelling from Myawady to Yangon on 17 July. The action was taken under Customs procedures.
